Apple is implementing another price hike across its U.S. service lineup. Both the Apple TV subscription and the standalone Apple One plan will increase in cost beginning August 28.
Changes to Individual Service Pricing
The increases affect two key services: Apple TV and the individual Apple One plan.
The Apple TV subscription is increasing from $12.99 to $14.99 per month. Furthermore, the annual plan for Apple TV will raise from $99 to $119. This marks the fourth monthly rate hike for the service in four years.
Separately, the individual Apple One plan—which includes iCloud+, Apple Music, Apple TV, and Apple Arcade—will increase from $19.95 to $21.95 per month.
Affected Plans and Effective Date
It is important to note that the Apple One Family and Premier plans are not affected by this new increase. These specific plans had already raised their prices in July, coinciding with a price hike for Apple Music.
The new rates for Apple TV and Apple One Individual will take effect starting August 28 in the United States.
This updated pricing comes as Apple continues to enrich its streaming catalog, notably adding series like "Ted Lasso," "Severance," and "Dark Matter."
With this latest increase, Apple continues to reposition the cost of its services in a rapidly growing streaming market.
