NVIDIA closed its second quarter of fiscal year 2027 with record revenue of $96.2 billion. Driven by immense demand for artificial intelligence infrastructure, the company reported that its revenues have more than doubled within one year.
Financial Performance Highlights
The company saw substantial growth across key segments. NVIDIA’s overall revenue grew 106% year-over-year and 18% compared to the previous quarter.
Data centers remain the primary engine of this impressive expansion, generating $89 billion in revenue—an increase of 117% year-over-year.
Industry Outlook and Technology Deployment
Jensen Huang, co-founder and CEO of NVIDIA, stated that artificial intelligence has reached an "inflection point," noting that use cases are now capable of generating value. He also characterized the current environment as a "golden age" for new AI laboratories and startups, citing the concurrent development of infrastructure by multiple industry players.
On the technological front, NVIDIA continues to drive innovation with the deployment of Vera Rubin, its next-generation computing platform designed specifically for artificial intelligence infrastructures. Furthermore, the company highlighted Spectrum-6, a new generation of networking solutions engineered to connect the high-speed accelerators that constitute large data centers dedicated to AI.
This period of expansion is also supported by significant financing mechanisms. NVIDIA announced partnerships in August with Apollo, BlackRock, Blackstone, Brookfield, Goldman Sachs, and KKR. These alliances aim to create independent platforms intended to mobilize over $500 billion of third-party capital over time for the development of AI dedicated computing infrastructures.
Looking ahead, NVIDIA has forecasted revenue for the third quarter of fiscal 2027 at approximately $108 billion, signaling continued strong demand for its compute and infrastructure solutions.
