Amazon is preparing a new data center campus in Pecos County, Texas, which will be powered by significant on-site natural gas electricity generation. The GW Ranch project could reach 7.65 GW of capacity and has a permit allowing up to 33 million tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions annually.
